Justin Roiland’s new animated sitcom Solar Opposites recently premiered on Hulu. If you don’t know who Justin Roiland is, he’s the co-creator of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, as well as the voice of both of the titular characters. As you’d expect from the guy who co-created a freaky show like Rick and Morty, Solar Opposites is a hilariously dark take on mankind’s potential interactions with space aliens living among them. As it turns out, as interesting as science fiction stuff seems from a distance, once it starts messing with you on a regular basis, you get kind of tired of it. This is why nobody likes the main cast of aliens in their neighborhood.
