The popular YouTuber shared the joyful moment on his Instagram, writing, “Ya boy did a thing,” alongside a photo of him on one knee, asking Booysen to be his forever.

In a festive twist, Booysen also shared the moment on her Instagram, showing off her sparkling diamond engagement ring while the couple donned matching MrBeast-themed Christmas sweaters. The cheerful outfits perfectly complemented the heartwarming occasion.

Booysen opened up to People magazine about the special proposal, revealing that their families were both present for the surprise. “My family flew out from South Africa for Christmas, and we were all celebrating together at home,” she explained. “He asked me to close my eyes for the last gift, and then, of course, he popped the question.”

Booysen shared that she was “extremely excited” and, naturally, said yes.

The couple’s journey began in 2022 when they met in South Africa, thanks to a mutual friend. Donaldson recalls being immediately impressed by Booysen’s brilliance. “I knew within the first few minutes that I wanted to date her. Thankfully, she felt the same way,” he said.

Their relationship became public later that year, when they made their red carpet debut at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Since then, they’ve become one of YouTube’s most talked-about couples.
