It’s an All-Monster-Melee!

Since the 50s, one of the cornerstones of endearingly low-budget science fiction has been kaiju films, headed by the legendary Godzilla (or Gojira, if you prefer). Being a kaiju aficionado is not unlike being into pro wrestling; the plots are nonsensical and a lot of it is really obviously fake, but you can’t resist the sheer hype that is big dudes pummeling the living snot out of each other, occasionally at the expense of their surroundings and onlookers. It’s a winning formula!

What you may not know if you’re a recent initiate into the world of giant monsters is that Godzilla has had quite a gallery of misfits over the years. Giant beasts, horrible demons, mutant abominations, and murderous robots are a dime a dozen in this long-running series. If you think you’ve got the chops, try to name these ten Godzilla kaiju.
