“MTV’s Teen Mom 2 has been a big part of my life for almost 11 years. After much thought and discussion with my family and friends, Cole and I have decided that this season will be our last. We are forever thankful to MTV and our crew, who are like family to us. We’re parting on the best of terms and will stay in touch long after this. We’re proud to have been able to share our story and are so grateful to the fans who have followed our journey from the beginning.  Our next chapter in life will focus on developing our brand and taking things to the next level with new endeavors and expanding family businesses. Please tune into our last moments on the show and continue to follow along our journey on social media. We are so excited for this next phase of our lives and hope you all will be a part of it somehow!”

What else has DeBoer said about leaving Teen Mom 2? And what is her new baby news she recently shared?

In 2021, DeBoer spoke to E News to detail more about her decision to leave Teen Mom 2.

At the time, she told them the following: “There just came a point—and I think it was a buildup almost—this feeling in my gut, or my heart, I guess. It just didn’t feel like I was supposed to be on that show anymore. There were conversations that [my daughter] Aubree and I were having from time to time, and there came the point where I was just worried because I don’t want her to ever be like, she can’t tell me things because it’s going to be aired to millions of people or whatever.”

DeBoer continued detailing to E News regarding her reason to leave the show, stating that “When she was little, the stuff that was going on with her dad and stuff, it was from my point of view, and as she got older, it started coming from her point of view. I think that deserves to be private for her. That was ultimately what kind of pushed me to decide to step away and leave that chapter of life.”

While DeBoer left Teen Mom 2, her and her husband did end up returning to television this year on HGTV’s Down Home Fab!

So what made her decide to return to TV? And, finally, what is her baby news?

In an interview with Hollywood Life, DeBoer discussed her reason for returning to TV.

“There wasn’t a point when we left Teen Mom where we thought we wouldn’t ever be back on TV again,” DeBoer shared, “because we liked that whole process, it just wasn’t the right situation.”

“This so different,” DeBoer continued. “It’s focusing on our business, not diving into the personal lives of our kids, which was a huge thing for us. HGTV has just been amazing throughout the whole time. They made it clear they wanted us to be comfortable, and we felt like there was a lot of open communication.”

So, now that we know DeBoer is back on TV, what is the big baby news she recently confirmed? Are she and Cole expecting another child?

DeBoer took to Instagram to share her new baby news, detailing that her husband got her a special Valentine’s Day gift.

“Girls don’t want flowers for Valentine’s day,” Chelsea stated in a video clip of her and a baby cow posted to Instagram. “We want cows.”

She captioned the post with the following caption: “Cows or flowers?!”

One of her followers specifically asked her if this was “a new baby cow,” to which she responded, “YES!”
