SNL: Always Bringing Laughter and Love
Actress Dakota Johnson, hosting Saturday Night Live for the second time, took the opportunity to commend her friend Taylor Swift during her monologue on the Jan. 27 episode. Johnson referenced her previous appearance on the show in 2015, recalling her proximity to then-audience member Donald Trump, who would later become the President of the United States.
The camera then revealed Taylor Swift sitting in front of Dakota among the celebrity audience members, highlighting their connection and Swift’s presence at the event.
Swift, known for her chart-topping music and recent professional milestones, has been making waves in the media. Her ongoing Eras tour surpassed $1 billion in revenue in December, making it the highest-grossing tour ever. Additionally, she broke Elvis Presley’s record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart earlier this month.

The “Blank Space” singer has also attracted attention for her relationship with Travis Kelce and her public appearances at the Kansas City Chiefs star’s games, which have reportedly boosted NFL viewership and sales of tickets and merchandise.
During her SNL appearance, Dakota Johnson was joined by her Social Network co-star Justin Timberlake, who served as the musical guest. Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon made a memorable appearance during Johnson’s monologue, later starring together in a sketch as Bee Gees singers Barry Gibb and Robin Gibb.
