Kojima Productions announced on Twitter that ‘Death Stranding’ is coming to PC early summer 2020.

“Thanks to all of you who have been supporting #DEATHSTRANDING! DEATH STRANDING release on PS4 is November 8, 2019!! Furthermore, KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS is happy to announce that DEATH STRANDING will be coming to PC in early summer of 2020!!#kojimaproductions #deathstrandingpc,” the tweet read.

Typically, Sony tries to keep exclusivity for the PlayStation console, but things seem to be changing, especially with as big a game as this one also heading to PC next year.

According to the synopsis of the game on the Playstation website, “After the collapse of civilization, Sam Bridges must journey across a ravaged landscape crawling with otherworldly threats to save mankind from the brink of extinction. “

The game stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner, and was created by legendary game creator Hideo Kojima.

The launch trailer will be published sometime this week as part of the Paris Games Week event. Kojima also confirmed that he personally edited the trailer.
