The title of this episode is: The one where you wanted to try Rachel’s English Trifle.
If you are like Joey and you don’t like to share your food, then this cookbook is going to make it even harder for you to let others pick at your plate.
After many rumors, a Friends-themed cookbook is finally being published. Titled Friends: The Official Cookbook and written by Amanda Nicole Yee, the book is stuffed with over 90 recipes inspired by the characters of the famous sitcom. Everything from Phoebe’s faceless foods to Joey’s favorite meatball sub to the gang’s classic Friendsgiving feast will be featured in the book.
“What’s not to like? Custard: good. Jam: good. Meat: good!”
Every recipe will include step-by-step instructions and modifications to accommodate chefs of all levels. Each recipe is also paired with an episode from the show, so once the cooking is done, you can sit down to enjoy the meal while watching the accompanying episode.
Friends: The Official Cookbook will release on September 22. The book announcement comes after news that the Friends reboot has been put on hold due to the pandemic. Due to the desire to have a live audience during filming, HBO Max will likely put out a fall premiere date for the Friends reunion.
