Could this be the end of the infamous couple?

Sources allegedly close to the Kardashian-West power couple have told CNN that the two are apparently in a rough patch in their relationship, and that divorce is a possibility. For the past several months, the two have been living separately, with Kanye staying in their Wyoming home, while Kim remains in California with their four kids.

“They have been living separately for the last few months,” an anonymous friend of Kim’s told CNN. “They have been in marriage counseling and have discussed divorce, it’s on the table.”

“Divorce is something that has been discussed off and on for the past year but Kim has not wanted to move forward on that,” a second source said. “There is no drama or contentious relationship” the individual added, noting that the two are “amicable” and “fully aligned when it comes to the kids.”

Some reports have also claimed that Kim has been consulting with divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, though apparently she’s been on retainer for a while now, having previously represented Kim in her divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries in 2013.

Recent years have been difficult for Kanye, as he has been struggling with bipolar disorder and drawing negative press for his support of President Donald Trump, as well as his own bid for the presidency in 2020.

“When you’re in this state, you’re hyper-paranoid about everything, everyone,” West said about his condition. “This is my experience. Other people have different experiences. Everyone now is an actor. Everything’s a conspiracy. You feel the government is putting chips in your head. You feel you’re being recorded. You feel all these things,” he said.

Kim spoke in defense of her husband’s actions and statements in a social media post back in July. “I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions,” she wrote. “He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.”
