Maybe Access to Ozempic Should be Limited

In a startling turn of events, model Lottie Moss, 26, was rushed to the hospital after a terrifying overdose of the controversial weight-loss drug Ozempic. Despite weighing a mere 9 stone (approximately 60 kg), the young model admitted to taking high doses of the medication, which is intended for individuals with obesity or diabetes.

Lottie, the half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss, revealed that she obtained the drug under the table through a friend who sourced it from a doctor without proper medical oversight. The model suffered severe side effects, including violent illness, a frightening seizure, and extreme dehydration.

“I would rather die than take Ozempic again,” Lottie confessed on her podcast, Dream On. “It was the worst decision I ever made.”

The model’s weight plummeted dramatically, dropping to around 53 kg (just over 8 stone) in a matter of weeks. Medical professionals were aghast to discover that the dosage she was injecting was meant for someone nearly double her weight.

“At the end of the day, it is a medication—it is dangerous and really meant for weight loss of people of a very large size,” Lottie emphasized. “When I was taking it, the amount that I was taking was meant for people who are 100 kilos and over.”

The OnlyFans star didn’t hold back as she detailed the harrowing experience:

  • Severe Side Effects: Persistent vomiting, loss of color in her face, and inability to keep down food or water.
  • Terrifying Seizure: “I literally had a seizure from how dehydrated I was,” she recounted. “It was honestly one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me.”
  • Hospital Emergency: Lottie was wheelchaired through the hospital at 3 a.m., with nurses alarmed by the high dosage she had administered.

Lottie, who has previously opened up about the pressures of the modeling industry and her struggles with addiction, issued a stark warning to others:

“This is a warning to everyone. Please, if you’re thinking of taking it, do not take it. It’s so not worth it.”

She also addressed the alarming resurgence of the “heroin chic” trend from the ’90s, a look famously associated with her sister Kate Moss, who once declared, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” Lottie expressed concern over the current obsession with extreme thinness fueled by drugs like Ozempic:

“We should not be going back there. This should not be a trend right now… Where did the body positivity go?”

Lottie urged people to embrace their natural bodies and focus on health rather than dangerous shortcuts to weight loss.
