Starbucks Rolls Out New Pumpkin Cold Brew

Are you team PSL or PCCB (Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew)?

Good news for anyone not experiencing breezy fall temperatures (so, the entire country, right?) but trying to overcompensate for the blazing heat by indulging in easy, cop-out fall delicacies. While rolling out the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks recognized that only psychopaths were ready to chug a hot latte in the August heat, and gave us sane folk something to enjoy—the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

And though ordering a PCCB doesn’t flow off the tongue quite as effortlessly as a PSL, I’m sure we’ll get the hang of it as soon we realize the how refreshing a foamy pumpkin iced beverage in the middle of the hottest recorded summer is.

Similar to their signature foamy cold brew, the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, the pumpkin variation celebrates all the beloved flavors of fall lusciously mixing with the bold roast of cold brewing. The cold foam on top is appropriately orange-tinted, with an intriguing sprinkle of pumpkin spice on top.

Accompanying the new beverage, customers can also get their pumpkin fix from the bakery, with pumpkin scones and muffins.

Whether the August roll-out is premature or the perfect pick-me-up to push through the dog days of summer, there’s no shame in getting your fall on with this new drink.
