The K-pop girl group will be the first to perform on the show.

Due to make their musical comeback on this Friday’s episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on NBC, K-pop girl group Blackpink will perform their new single “How You Like That.”

Members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa will make history by being the first all-girl band in the Korean pop music genre to perform on the show.

Blackpink previously appeared on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and “Good Morning America.”

The group’s dedicated fandom is eager to not only hear the new single, but also see the idol group perform live on another U.S. television show. “How You Like That” is part of Blackpink’s so-called three-step comeback; the girls will release another song in July or August, which will then culminate with a new album drop in September. The comeback plan was confirmed in a statement by the group’s label, YG Entertainment.

Blackpink was also the first Seoul-based group to perform Coachella in 2019. More recently, they collaborated with Lady Gaga on the song “Sour Candy,” which is part of her new “Chromatica” album.
