Pop star Britney Spears denies shocking claims made by her ex-husband Kevin Federline in his upcoming memoir, ‘You Thought You Knew.’ In the book, Federline has alleged that Britney sometimes watched their teenage sons sleep at night by ‘holding a knife in her hand,’ a claim the singer strongly denies.
Britney’s representative said that these allegations by Federline are completely false. Like before, he is again trying to profit off her name.
“With news from Kevin’s book breaking, once again he and others are profiting off her, and sadly it comes after child support has ended with Kevin,” the rep said. “All she cares about are her kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and their well-being during this sensationalism.”
Federline was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007. He writes that he and his sons have found Britney’s behavior scary. He even wrote about the moments when she allegedly stood in the doorway with a knife, saying little before walking away.
These shocking claims have stirred extreme reactions online. Fans of Britney have been defending her. They have pointed out that she already described her personal struggles in her 2023 memoir, ‘The Woman in Me.’
The former couple shares two sons, and both sons now live with Kevin in Hawaii. Kevin’s book will release on October 21. Britney’s representative has already made it clear that she wants to stay focused on healing and protecting her children.
There is a storm in the media, but Britney is now determined that she won’t let the past define her. For her, family and peace always come first.
