Dolly Parton won’t be lighting up Las Vegas this December after all. The country music legend shared with fans that her six-night show “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been postponed due to health concerns.
The six-night event was scheduled to begin in December 2025. However, Dolly Parton wrote on Instagram that her doctors told her she needs a few medical procedures and some time to recover before she can get back on stage.

“I guess it’s time for my 100,000-mile check-up,” she joked before making it clear this wasn’t the retirement from music. “Don’t worry about me quittin’ the business,” she said. “God hasn’t told me to stop yet. He’s just telling me to slow down for a bit.”
Dolly wrote that the real reason behind the delay is that she wants fans to see the performance they paid for. “You deserve to see me at my best,” she said, adding that she won’t settle for less when it comes to her performances.
This isn’t the first time she has come to headlines because of her health. Earlier this year, she missed a Dollywood event because of a kidney stone. Still, she’s keeping busy with projects in Nashville and made sure everyone knows she’ll be back on stage in no time.
People who purchased tickets for Dolly’s December shows can now see her in Las Vegas on the new dates.
