Another Talented Person in the Clarkson Family?
Move over, Frank Sinatra—there’s a new crooner in town, and he’s only eight years old! Kelly Clarkson’s son, Remington “Remy” Blackstock, stunned the audience on a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show with a heartfelt rendition of Sinatra’s iconic ballad, My Way.
A Star is Born
It was a family affair on set as Kelly’s kids, Remy and 10-year-old River, joined their mom during their school day off. Before the show began, Remy decided to take center stage and treat the audience to a preview of his musical talent. With Kelly’s live band accompanying him, the young singer confidently performed the 1969 classic, leaving the audience in awe.
Kelly, a proud mom, couldn’t hide her excitement. “He just walked in and said, ‘Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?’” she shared her signature humor.

Big Sister Support
Remy wasn’t the only star of the day. His sister, River, cheered him on from the audience, even singing along at times. River has also displayed her musical talents in the past, performing alongside Kelly during her Las Vegas residency in August 2023.
Kelly has often mentioned how her kids have inherited her love for music. “They’re so fun. I love my kids so much,” she gushed during the show.
A Musical Legacy
This isn’t the first time Kelly’s kids have made headlines for their musical talents. Earlier this year, she revealed that their onstage debut during her residency was entirely their idea. “They were nervous, but it was magical,” Kelly told People. She described how her kids looked at her in awe, likening their expressions to watching a superhero.
With such natural talent and a supportive environment, it’s no surprise that Remy and River are already following in their mom’s footsteps.
A New Chapter for Kelly
This moment of joy comes after a significant personal milestone for Kelly. Earlier this year, she finalized her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, with her last spousal support payment made in January. Now focused on her kids and career, Kelly seems to be thriving.
“Seeing my kids happy and confident is everything,” she said. Moments like these remind us why Kelly is not just a global superstar but also a devoted mom who inspires us all.
