Snoop Dogg Never Disappoints

Night 1 of The Voice season 26 finale was nothing short of electrifying, with unforgettable performances, heartfelt moments, and even a few tears. The episode was a true celebration of talent, with the coaches—Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé, and Reba McEntire—watching their finalists pour their hearts out on stage.

To set the festive mood, the coaches sipped on boozy eggnog courtesy of Snoop’s close friend and culinary icon Martha Stewart. Gwen Stefani summed it up perfectly: “That’s the way to do the finale!”

Jeremy Beloate Brings Snoop to Tears

The night was filled with standout performances, but one moment took center stage: Snoop Dogg’s emotional reaction to his finalist, Jeremy Beloate. Singing Jackie DeShannon’s “What the World Needs Now,” Beloate delivered a performance so moving that it brought Snoop to tears.

“I’m like the new Martha Stewart if she sang,” Beloate joked earlier in the evening, referring to his unique bond with Snoop. But when the music started, it was all heart. “Music isn’t just about how it sounds. It’s about how it makes you feel,” Snoop said, visibly moved.

The coaches couldn’t help but sing his praises. Michael Bublé even envisioned a Broadway debut in Beloate’s future, while Stefani was left momentarily speechless after his second performance, Calum Scott’s “Dancing On My Own.” “It’s so powerful what you do. It’s perfect,” she said.

A Night of Exceptional Talent

Beloate wasn’t the only star shining on the finale stage. The other finalists proved that America has a tough decision ahead.

  • Team Bublé’s Shye delivered a mesmerizing rendition of Harry Styles’ “Falling,” prompting Snoop to hint at a record deal: “You are exceptional. I hope to see you on my label in 2025.”
  • Team Reba’s Danny Joseph brought his country roots to life with Luke Combs’ “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” earning Gwen’s enthusiastic approval.
  • Team Gwen’s Sydney Sterlace amazed with Gracie Abrams’ “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” with Snoop proclaiming, “Syd the kid, you grew up tonight!”
  • Team Bublé’s Sofronio Vasquez closed the show with Sia’s powerhouse anthem, “Unstoppable.” Reba called him an unstoppable artist, while Bublé compared him to a superhero, joking, “I need to go suck on lemons to stop smiling.”

With voting open until 7 a.m. ET, fans have one last chance to decide who will take home the crown. The winner will be revealed during Tuesday night’s grand finale, which promises even more excitement. Performances from Kelly Clarkson, Sting, Dan + Shay, and a surprise duet featuring Snoop Dogg will add to the spectacle.

One thing’s for sure: this season of The Voice has been a memorable ride, and Night 1 of the finale set the bar high for what’s to come.
