Alec Baldwin might not be competing on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but that didn’t stop him from getting some screen time during the big debut of his wife, Hilaria.
Hilaria is dancing this season with pro Gleb Savchenko. They will hit the stage with a fiery cha-cha to Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud.” However, before the live performance, viewers got to see a hilarious rehearsal moment with Alec crashing the practice.
In true Baldwin fashion, he tapped Hilaria and Gleb on the shoulder and asked, “May I cut in?” Everyone expected him to dance with his wife, but instead, he picked up Gleb for a spin. The joke had everyone laughing. Even Hilaria teased, “I think they hired the wrong Baldwin.”
On performance night, the mom of seven impressed the judges with her energy and moves. Derek Hough also joked, “That is the best cha-cha I’ve seen from a mother of seven.” He also admitted Alec kept distracting him because he looked so much like his dad.

When the dance finished, Hilaria got emotional in her interview with cohost Julianne Hough. She said that she said goodbye to dancing behind 16 years ago after breaking her hip. She said that being back on the dance floor felt “like a dream come true.”
The couple ended the night with 14 points. They were merely one step behind the leaders, Robert Irwin and Whitney Leavitt, who scored 15.
New episodes of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ air every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming on Hulu.
