Anne Hathaway is making it clear that her growing baby bump is very real.
The Oscar-winning actress turned heads as she arrived at the El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Los Angeles for an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, proudly showing off her pregnancy in another stylish maternity look. Hathaway, 43, is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
For her television appearance, Hathaway embraced an effortlessly glamorous look. She wore a flowing, sleeveless black button-up top with only one button fastened, allowing her blossoming bump to take center stage. She paired the top with low-rise trousers and heeled mules for a relaxed yet polished ensemble.
Beachy waves, chunky gold jewelry and oversized oval sunglasses completed the look as Hathaway made her way into the Hollywood studio.
The latest appearance comes shortly after the actress addressed online speculation surrounding her pregnancy. After photos from the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, The End of Oak Street, sparked social media chatter, some users questioned whether her baby bump was genuine.
Hathaway appeared to respond to the speculation with humor rather than letting the criticism overshadow her pregnancy. In an Instagram caption, she wrote, “Fake hair, real bump,” seemingly making a playful reference to the rumors while confirming that her pregnancy is very much real.
The actress had previously attracted plenty of attention for her unconventional red carpet maternity outfit at the film’s premiere. She wore a custom baby-blue Prabal Gurung halter top with a dramatic, floor-length silk train and low-rise jeans, creating a fashion moment that quickly became a talking point online.
Hathaway announced earlier this summer that she and Shulman are expecting their third child. The couple, who married in 2012, already share two sons, Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.
The The Devil Wears Prada star has also been candid about how unexpected the pregnancy was. During a July appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, she described the news as a “buzzer beater,” explaining that although she and Shulman knew they were trying, they were surprised when it actually happened.
Hathaway has also spoken openly about experiencing pregnancy in her 40s and the realistic expectations she and her husband had going into the process. She said they understood that the chances were much lower with age but decided to see what life had in store for them.
Now, as she continues her promotional tour, Hathaway appears to be embracing this new chapter with plenty of confidence, humor and unmistakable maternity style.
And if her latest appearance is any indication, she’s not letting internet speculation distract her from celebrating her growing family.
