Definitely the cutest way to end the day!

For both parents and children alike, bedtime can often times be one of the most dreaded parts of the day. Parents struggle with putting down their child for the night while children fight tooth and nail to stay up later. But someone special is stepping in to help the little ones get to sleep.

Sesame Street will debut a new show that aims to make bedtime enjoyable and easier for everyone. Hosted by everyone’s favorite furry red puppet, Elmo will take over bedtime with The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo, a nighttime talk show series that will feature celebrity guests, a house band and fellow Sesame Street pals as the crew.

Executive producer Ben Lehmann said in a press release that “Young children will love seeing their ‘Sesame Street’ friends in a new way.”

The show is made not just for children but for older kids and adults too. There will be backstage humor to keep the older kids engaged while adults will “get a kick out of seeing their favorite celebrities at play.”

The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo will air on HBO Max on May 27 and will consist of 13 episodes. Some confirmed guests to appear on the show include Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver, comedian John Mulaney, Batman, and The Jonas Brothers. Episodes will air every Thursday, but episodes will be available for streaming at any time after.
