Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has shocked fans by revealing the results of her recent facelift, just months after selling her multi-million-pound mansion due to mounting financial issues. The 51-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Monday to share a candid video, showing her bandaged and swollen face on what she called the “worst day” of her recovery.
Dawn, who now lives in Dubai with her ex-footballer husband Ashley Ward, propped herself up in bed, sporting a black facial covering and tape across her cheeks and under her eyes. She admitted to her followers that while her face felt “really, really tight,” she was keeping her spirits high by binge-watching Married At First Sight.
In response to fan comments questioning why she opted for the cosmetic procedure, Dawn was quick to defend her decision. “I’m not changing the way I look,” she explained. “I’m just wanting to look like a fresher version of myself. Loads of my friends have had it done.”
This facelift comes at a turbulent time for the reality star, who sold her £6.5 million Grade II-listed Warford Hall mansion earlier this year after being hit with four County Court Judgments totaling over £62,000 in unpaid bills. Dawn faced a £40,255 debt from merchant bank Close Brothers, alongside additional judgments for amounts of £19,812, £1,270, and £960. Meanwhile, her husband Ashley, 53, has his own £400 court judgment.
Despite these financial setbacks, Dawn remains positive, insisting her facelift is just a “little freshen up” as she navigates the next chapter of her life. For now, fans will have to wait and see the final results of her transformation.
