I have yet to see a situation that wasn’t improved by ice cream.

I wonder if the person who invented ice cream was aware of the wonderful thing that they had brought into the world. I have never, in my entire life, met a person who didn’t like ice cream. I know people who can’t eat it, due to dietary reasons or personal beliefs, but nobody who doesn’t like it. What’s not to like, even? It’s sweet, it’s creamy, and it comes in a theoretically infinite number of flavors. Even ones that probably shouldn’t exist, like bacon or something. That’s the power of ice cream, man; it’s a medium through which all other food groups can channel themselves.

Among all ice cream flavors, there are a select few that have stood the test of time and risen to comfortable positions as the standards. Wherever you go in the world, if you go to an ice cream joint, they are guaranteed to have at least one of these flavors, if not all of them. So, I ask, which of these wonderful standards do you hold yourself to?
