When you walk into a McDonald’s, what’s the first thing you smell?

Is it the fries? The burgers? The smell of frying oil cooking up something delicious? If you are an avid fan of the quarter pounder or the famous golden hot fries, then you’ll have likely smelled the scent of a McDonald’s before. You don’t have to imagine it, though, because the fast food chain is cashing in on the scents industry.

Mickey D’s is releasing a line of six scented candles that will smell like your favorite Quarter Pounder ingredients – a sesame seed bun, pickles, onion, 100 percent fresh beef, cheese and ketchup. The listing on the McDonald’s fan club website recommends burning all the candles together for “maximum deliciousness.”

The candles are marked as “Coming Soon” and “extremely limited,” so be sure to keep an eye out because these are sure to sell out fast among McDonald’s fans.

The fast food chain is no stranger to bizarre memorabilia. To celebrate the burger’s near 50-year run on the menu, the corporation also released other merch such as mittens, T-shirts, pins and calendars, all of which can be found and purchased on the fan club site.

McDonald’s will also be unveiling a “larger-than-life” monument to honor the famous sandwich on Wednesday, Feb. 26 in a city to be announced.
