Hollywoo mainstays, and the people who are like them.

BoJack Horseman was one of the very first shows I watched when I first got a Netflix subscription. It was funny and clever, but every now and then it would hit you with a sudden tonal whiplash that completely changed the context of whatever was happening. It’s sort of an ever-present reminder that even though the denizens of TV land seem like these wacky, inapproachable characters from afar, they’re still people in private. Deeply flawed people. Makes you think. Then laugh! Then think again. Then possibly cry.

With the series finally coming to an end, I thought it might be a good time to look back on this pack of Hollywoo misfits. The cast of this series are definitely some of the most multifaceted characters of adult animation today, and possibly of entertainment in general. You might not find it entirely pleasant to be compared to one of them (especially BoJack), but if you clicked on this, then I assume, much like these characters, you’re ready for something deeply unpleasant. I know I am!
