First a candle that smells like cheese and now a garlic bread diffuser?

Our homes are about to smell like a restaurant! Sandwich chain Subway is launching an elegant looking reed diffuser in the UK that will make your home smell like garlic bread with cheese.

The scent is based on one of the most popular items on Subway’s menu, the Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread. The reed diffuser contains notes of garlic, melting cheese, and bread fresh from the oven. It’s the ultimate gift for any sandwich or garlic bread lover.

The diffuser comes with three scent-spreading reeds that bear a resemblance to bread sticks, but that does not make it out to appear or even smell cheap. In fact, this reed diffuser is everything fancy and expensive looking with its classy front and shiny accents. The diffuser even comes with a sophisticated gift box.

Currently, the product is in prototype trial and testing phase, and is currently unavailable to the public. However, Subway hopes to debut the Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread reed diffuser in the UK and Ireland by next year.

The reason why Subway is launching a bread scent is because research commissioned by the sandwich chain found that 2,000 UK adults preferred freshly baked bread smells, beating out festive scents like Christmas trees, cinnamon, and gingerbread.
