The actress reflected on the situation during a conversation with Glamour in 2023, expressing her sadness for how it affected Powell, although she cherished their on-set experience.

Sweeney also acknowledged that her private life is generally off-limits, noting, “I think it’s important to have something for me. I’m very open [otherwise]. I talk about so much and sometimes it gets me in trouble, but I do try to keep something for me.”
