Have you ever heard of the adorable time traveling robotic cat named Doraemon? If not, it’s a great manga and anime to watch.

“Doraemon” was originally a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko Fujio, the pen name of the duo Hiroshi Fujimoto and Motoo Abiko. The series was later adapted into an anime that went on to become a successful series and media franchise.

In some exciting news, the very first Doraemon Future Department Store that is dedicated to the famous franchise, will be opening on Dec. 1 in DiverCity Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba, Tokyo. It will be the world’s first official Doraemon shop!

The store will offer everything from merchandise to three zones of unique interactive experiences. Fans of the blue robot cat will get to play with Doraemon’s secret gadgets, meet the characters and so much more.

The Secret Gadgets Lab will allow visitors to test out some of the tech that Doraemon himself uses. The Customization Zone is where visitors will get the chance to make their own one-of-a-kind Doraemon goods. The Shop Zone is where visitors can get Future Department Store-limited merchandise that is exclusive to the store.
