The Couple is Officially Separated

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez, who separated more than a year ago, are now officially divorced, according to court documents obtained from the Los Angeles Superior Court. The dissolution of their marriage, which lasted nearly three years, was finalized on Tuesday, bringing closure to their relationship.

The 30-year-old pop star filed a petition for divorce from the 28-year-old real estate broker six months ago, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite the split, the process proceeded smoothly, facilitated by a pre-nuptial agreement, the absence of children, and minimal legal disputes.

As part of the settlement, Grande will make a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Gomez, with no future alimony obligations. Additionally, Gomez will receive half of the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home, and Grande will cover up to $25,000 in his attorneys’ fees.

The terms of the agreement were finalized in October, with only a mandatory six-month waiting period before the court’s order could be executed.

Grande and Gomez began dating in January 2020 and announced their engagement in December of the same year. They exchanged vows in a private ceremony at Grande’s Montecito home on May 15, 2021.
