Miley Cyrus shared a behind-the-scenes moment from the set of Hannah Montana, and it has forced every fan to laugh hard and raise eyebrows. During an appearance on a podcast, her mother, Tish Cyrus, asked her to open up about the funniest moments that still make her laugh from her time as a Disney Channel star.
“Dad smoking pot and everyone blaming me for it. It’s hilarious … He wasn’t sharing ’cause Tish wasn’t toking yet,” said Miley.
Tish shared that back then, she didn’t believe when she was told that her ex-husband smoked weed on set. Instead, she blamed the younger stars from Hannah Montana.
“They were calling me saying B-Ray was smoking pot, and I was saying, ‘Absolutely not. He would never do that. It’s Mitchel Musso,'” Tish said with a laugh. In response, Miley said: “Well, it was Mitchel. It was Mitchel Musso! It was both.”
On the other hand, Musso claims that he didn’t use marijuana on the sets of Hannah Montana. “Honestly, this made me laugh,” the actor says in an interview. “That’s not how I remember it… and I’ve got plenty of stories from those years that might be worth having a conversation about.”
Musso says, “If we’re revisiting Hannah Montana history — just say the word. Receipts. All love to Miley and the fam… even when the rewrites get this creative.”
Miley Cyrus mentioned that she once tried weed during Hannah Montana, which aired from 2006 to 2011. In a 2024 interview, she said, “I hadn’t quite left the show but I had started experiencing life.” “Like, I had definitely been drunk by the time I saw you [on The Late Show With David Letterman]. I had drank, I smoked some pot.”
Miley Cyrus once told Zane Lowe that staying sober was like a religion to her. But later, she went a bit overboard with that statement. She said in another interview, “I think that was a little dramatic.” “That was a little dramatic, because someone used that as a quote, and I was like, ‘Okay, I wouldn’t say it’s my god. I’m not gonna go into — I don’t do meetings or anything.”
