Queer Eye takes Japan

Everyone’s favorite self-love advocates are going international.

As if the Fab Five haven’t already outdone themselves on their most recent season of Queer Eye and in each of their personal endeavors, they are doing the absolute most by giving fans an extra special mid-season break with a mini-season set in… Japan!

The mini-season will feature four episodes, each of which featuring a different Japanese male hoping to overcome various, individualized obstacles. The Fab Five are able to apply their curated skills and talents to help Yoko, Kan, Kae, and Makoto with the assistance of Japanese actress Kiko Mizuhara and Naomi Watanabe.

The stars themselves have been quite busy as well, so perhaps getting back to their roots was just as therapeutic for them as it will be for audience members watching. Jonathan Van Ness has been busy with book tours and interviews regarding his recent conversations surrounding his history with HIV, Karamo Brown is shaking things up on Dancing with the Stars, and Antoni Porowski has been filming recipe videos to promote his new cookbook (and grabbing dinners with Gigi Hadid, casually). Meanwhile Bobby Berk is as busy as ever adding to his home design collection, and Tan France is spending some much-needed time relaxing and cheering on his besties in their personal projects.

The Japan edition of the Emmy-winning show is set to premier November 1st on Netflix. Mark your calendars now for what will without-a-doubt be a season to remember.
