Café management is about to get a whole lot cuter.

Mark your calendars for June 24 because a new game will be available for download for free on the Nintendo eShop and on mobile devices. Called Pokémon Café Mix, the cute new game will allow players to solve puzzles to serve drinks and dishes in a café for pocket monsters. Similar in style to Bejeweled and Zookeeper, players can recruit and serve various Pokémon to “craft tasty treats, by completing satisfying icon matching puzzles,” according to the game synopsis.

“As Pokémon arrive to sample the delights of your Pokémon Café, it’s up to you and your highly trained staff to get their orders just right!”

By matching icons, destroying sugar cubes and more, players will serve items on their Pokémon-themed menu while also expanding the menu offerings and café itself. Additionally, each Pokémon is employed with Café Skills or a specialty, and when matched with a dish or drink, can help players get bonuses in puzzles. In-game currency called Golden Acorns can also be redeemed to regain hearts, continue puzzles or retrieve helpful items to solve harder levels.

Pokémon Café Mix is part of The Pokémon Company’s new games that will be released for Android, iOS, and Switch. The other two are New Pokémon Snap, a follow-up to the Nintendo 64 title, and Pokémon Smile, an app designed to make brushing teeth fun for kids.
