There is a lot more to be merry about when it comes to your cup of coffee!

Spicing things up a bit, Starbucks is adding on to its holiday lineup with a brand-new festive beverage. Starting today, the Irish Cream Cold Brew will be available at participating locations nationwide, but only for a limited time.

The Irish Cream Cold Brew is made with Starbucks’ cold brew coffee and Irish cream flavored syrup, topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and finished off with a dusting of cocoa powder.

Unfortunately (for those wanting a nice buzz), the new drink is non-alcoholic despite traditional Irish cream being made with Irish whiskey and cream.

Erin Marinan, a product developer for Starbucks, said in a company blog post that the drink pairs well with the cold brew “because of the chocolate flavor in the Irish cream and the cocoa notes from the coffee.”

Other holiday drinks such as Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Eggnog Latte remain available as usual. They all can come either hot, iced or as a blended Frappuccino.

Additionally, Starbucks announced that its popular Happy Hour promotion will be held every Thursday from 2-7 p.m. through the end of the year. Customers can get a buy-one-get-one free deal on all handcrafted beverages, grande or larger, including holiday drinks.
