Teachers are working extra hard as they transition over to remote learning.
With everyone spending more time indoors, including children who are now forced to stay home from school, teachers are trying to find ways to keep their students engaged and learning. Amid this transition, Reese Witherspoon wants to say thank you to educators with a gift from her Draper James clothing brand.
“[I] have been so encouraged by the ways people are really showing up for each other. Particularly the teachers,” Witherspoon explained in a statement.
"Dear Teachers: We want to say thank you. During quarantine, we see you working harder than ever to educate our children. To show our gratitude, Draper James would like to give teachers a free dress," Reese Witherspoon said in a social media post. https://t.co/lHy6SvWwJB

She founded the preppy southern-inspired brand in 2015, and this new initiative, called “Draper James Loves Teachers,” will gift teachers around the country will a free dress from her collection. Teachers simply need to sign up using a Google Form with their information. Those who sign up will receive an email or text next week with details.
Teachers will need to submit their information before Sunday, April 5 in order to receive their complimentary dress.
Witherspoon went on to say that she wanted to “show teachers a little extra love right now” as they broadcast their lessons from their own homes and navigate the new remote-learning technology and platforms.
Draper James will continue to show teachers love into the month of May where they will offer 25 percent off online orders for educators as part of Teachers Appreciation Day on May 5.
