Is the Kardashian-West Clan Leaving California?

Kanye West purchased a multi-million dollar estate in Wyoming, but no one has made official plans

If you’re still obsessing over the concrete blocks-turned sinks in KKW and KW’s new Cali home, you may be a little bit behind.

Kanye West just invested in some more real estate: a cozy home in the middle of Wyoming for his growing family. And by cozy, I mean at least 1,400 acres of the popular Monster Lake Ranch in Cody, Wyoming. Because apparently, their homes in Hidden Hills and Calabasas aren’t quite enough.

Kim Kardashian West confirmed the purchased with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” this past Wednesday. She said she can see the family living their most of the time sometime down the road, but not necessarily at this moment. “I love LA, so I envision summers, I envision weekends—but yeah, we love Wyoming,” Kardashian West said. It sounds like a conversation that should have taken place before the $14 million purchase… but what do I know?

Wyoming has always held a special place in Kanye’s heart. He recorded much of his recent album Ye there and hosted an epic release party on the picturesque mountainous ranchlands.

The couple already spends an unusual amount of time apart—whether it be traveling or work-related—so if Kanye were to make the move permanent on his behalf, it would not be unprecedented for Kim to split her time between Rodeo Drive and the Rodeo lifestyle.
