Musk started his visit to Twitter with a pun.

After a lengthy period of legal back-and-forth, Tesla CEO seems to have turned around on his attitude toward buying social media platform Twitter, approaching the matter more enthusiastically than before. To showcase this new attitude, Musk paid a visit to the platform’s head office in San Francisco this week, bringing along with him a large porcelain sink.

“Entering Twitter HQ – let that sink in!” Musk wrote on his personal Twitter with a video of him carrying the sink, apparently doing so for the express purpose of making this pun.

Prior to Musk’s visit, Twitter Chief Marketing Officer Leslie Berland informed employees that Musk would be visiting, “meeting with folks, walking the halls, and continuing to dive in on the important work you all do. If you’re in SF and see him around, say hi!”

According to an anonymous Twitter employee that spoke with CNBC, most of the workers are doing their best not to pay Musk or the deal much mind, choosing instead to focus on their work. Some employees have been concerned about potential rumors that Musk would enact large-scale layoffs if the deal goes through, with the anonymous employee saying that Musk could “burn it all down if he wants to.”

After the string of lawsuits and countersuits were put on hold, Musk seemed to accept his original proposed deal to purchase Twitter in entirely for $44 billion. Musk has until Friday evening to actually close this deal, or else the courts may be forced to get involved again.
