Celebrate with free ice cream
It’s a hot day and it’s also the first day of summer so why not celebrate the new season with a delicious and cold sweet treat? Celebrating ice cream season on a national level, Dairy Queen is giving away free ice cream all day on June 21, 2019.
This Friday, which is the day of the summer solstice, customers with the Dairy Queen app will be able to head to their local DQ and claim a free small ice cream cone. Customers can choose between either a regular, classic vanilla cone or a “dipped” cone with vanilla ice cream beneath a crisp coating. The dip comes in two varieties: the traditional chocolate coating or orange Dreamsicle, DQ’s newest seasonal option.
Customers wanting that free cone will need to download the DQ app as it will contain the coupon for the free small ice cream cone. The offer is also only valid on June 21.
But that’s not to say that DQ will be done with summer for the rest of the season. Their menu offers a lot of different treats that are perfect for summer weather. Customers can still indulge in some classic Blizzard treats, sundaes, cakes, and even hot desserts.
