The famous doughnut chain is rolling out a big product in a small package!

The latest addition to Krispy Kreme’s permanent menu is mini doughnuts, smaller versions of the chain’s classic doughnuts. This makes it the perfect “cheat sweet” for those on New year’s diet plans that can’t quite stick to their resolve to eliminate sweets for the new year.

Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release that, “Too many people bail on their New Year’s resolutions before they are even halfway through January… Sometimes a mini-indulgence, or cheat, is all you need to help you stick with it. So, we miniaturized our most popular doughnuts.”

The mini doughnuts will be available starting Monday and come in four classic flavors: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles. Each mini doughnut is less than 100 calories apiece, which is half as many in a regular-size doughnut.

Krispy Kreme is also holding promotions for the new menu addition. Called “Mini Mondays,” every Monday in January at participating Krispy Kreme stores from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., the new treat will be available for free.
