Who fits your definition of “Plus Ultra?”

It makes me happy when the nerdy stuff I like picks up some mainstream appeal. Anime has definitely become more recognized in the public scene over the last decade or so, and as a result, lots of great series have gained the recognition they deserve. Case in point, My Hero Academia. This Shonen Jump powerhouse has had a serialized manga since 2014, is currently in the fourth season of its anime, and has had a full theatrical movie release in both Japan and America. It’s basically the new Naruto. It’s easy to see why; the notion of a super power-centric society has been toyed with in a few other series and films, but MHA‘s level of depth in its lore, as well as character development and awesome fight scenes, puts it in a league of its own.

Now obviously, this series has a lot of characters. Like, a lot of main characters even, so we can’t cover all of them. But answer a few questions for us, and we’ll see which out of a select few land closest to you.
