The Golden Globe-winning actor will be heading to Italy for a four-episode food tour.

Stanley Tucci, known for his roles in “The Hunger Games” and “The Devil Wears Prada,” doesn’t just have over 100 acting credits to his name. He also has some culinary credits. Tucci co-owned a restaurant himself and published cookbooks, two of which are titled “The Tucci Cookbook” and “The Tucci Table.” He wrote, directed and starred in “Big Night,” a movie about two brothers running an Italian restaurant. He’s even worked with Ray Isle, the executive wine editor at “Food & Wine Magazine.”

Now, Tucci is embarking on a delicious new adventure, and all of it will be documented in a new series airing on CNN.

“Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy” will be a four-part original CNN culinary documentary series where the Hollywood actor will “travel to a number of very different regions in the country” to explore the “history of the food,” look at “how wealth and poverty” impacted the cuisine culture in Florence, Tuscany, and more. He will visit Rome, Sicily and Milan to understand “the history, culture and people.”

Italian cuisine is a huge passion of Tucci’s and through this partnership with CNN, he hopes to really explore not just the food and wine of Italy, but the stories of the people behind the country’s delicious cuisine.

If you’re a fan of pasta and wine, you will want to watch this show because Tucci will taste every pasta dish, drink every glass of wine and really try to find out what makes “Italy and its cuisine so irresistible.”

No set air date for the show just yet, but be sure to have your fork on standby for when it’s announced.
