A Baltimore brewer has drawn inspiration from Lizzo’s nude Skittles bathtub photoshoot to promote their beer.

Baltimore craft brewer DuClaw Brewing Company posted (clothed) photos of brewer Brandon Stanko and Diablo Doughnuts shop owner Michael Roslan in a bathtub full of Fruity Pebbles. The post was to announce the June 2020 return of their beer, “Sour Me Unicorn Farts.”

The Unicorn Farts beer is a sour ale that is brewed with Fruity Pebbles cereal and edible glitter, making for quite the sparkly ‘gram-worthy cereal-inspired sip. The 5.5 percent ABV beverage first made its debut for a limited time this past March and it was met with much enthusiasm and success.

Starting in December, Sour Me Unicorn Farts will be available for distributor preorder in Washington D.C. as well as several other states such as Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida and Georgia. Other states where the drink will be available for preorder include: Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The Sour Me Unicorn Farts beer continues to gain online popularity, and many are hoping for an expansion across the country in the future. After all, who doesn’t want a shimmery, fruity rainbow drink?
