Famous chef wanted for the next live-action Disney movie
Do you remember the hot-tempered chef from Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” who tried to cook Sebastian? And does a single name pop up in your head when you think of a hot-tempered chef in real life?
Disney has already found its Ariel, Scuttle and Flounder, and possibly Ursula, but fans are calling for an interesting Hollywood figure to take on the role of Chef Louis for the upcoming live-action reboot of “The Little Mermaid.”
Fifty-two-year-old chef Gordon Ramsay has become a household name thanks to his fiery and expletive-filled rages on TV shows like “Hell’s Kitchen” and “MasterChef.” And because of this, fans have been suggesting that the actor to take on the role of Prince Eric’s cooking-obsessed French chef Louis.
One Twitter user suggested on Saturday, tweeting, “Okay, hear me out, Gordon Ramsay as Prince Eric’s angry French chef, Louis.” Another fan tweeted, “Okay can we have Gordon Ramsay as chef Louis for the live-action of the little mermaid?!?”
Since then, the tweets and suggestions have been circulating on the Internet. The character is one of the few that has yet to be cast, along with the role of Sebastian, King Triton, Prince Eric and Flotsam and Jetsam, Ursula’s eels.
What are your thoughts? Would Ramsay fit in with the role?
